Our Universal Bond prime is a penetrative Water borne acrylic polymer resin emulsion primer sealer/undercoat with excellent flexibility, adhesion and impact resistant properties on all surfaces. An elastomeric one-way membrane that keys in to any substrate and assists in the sealing and healing of hair line cracks with the appropriate finishes. It is a Benchmark primer that together with our top coat products provide unmatched performance in any environment. It is a universal product that is used with almost all of our products with the exception Stains, Primer Sealer wash series and two coat applications (Nano coats)). It is also the bridge primer that helps us to move into the environmental and health safe products from the toxic and High VOC products. With a fast drying time of less than 10-20 minutes and being colourless, there is no loss of time between coats and it provides certainty of adhesion. It has a higher spread rate than most at a rate of 8-15m2 depending on substrate, and a clear cost advantage; it is the must product to use.

Applications

Ultra-Bond Prime is suitable for application over all surfaces and is highly recommended for use with our products as recommended. Where surfaces are hard to penetrate such as vitreous, Galvanised steel sand the bond into the surface using Grit 240 Bond wetted sand paper. Some special applications include but not limited to:

Properties

Spread rate of between 8 – 15 m2 per litre,
Disposal is in normal general waste and without wash. Just peel off and dispose.
